10 अप्रैल , 1960 को छात्रों के सतसंग में हुजूर ने फ़रमाया हम इस समय आपसे इस विषय में कुछ नहीं कहना चाहते कि आपने इस वर्ष जो कि समाप्त हो रहा है , कैसी पढ़ाई की आया आप परिश्रम से पढ़े या समय नष्ट किया और आवारागर्दी करते रहे ? आया आप इस वर्ष परीक्षा में सफ़ल होंगे या असफ़ल परन्तु इस बात के सोचने और तय करने की आवश्यकता है कि आगे चल कर आप क्या करना चाहते हैं ? इसके लिए उचित होगा कि आप अपने माता - पिता से और घर के लोगों से इस विषय में परामर्श करें फिर अपने हेडमास्टर साहब व प्रिंसिपल साहब से पूछे । वे आपकी क्षमता और कमियों को ठीक प्रकार से जानते हैं , इसलिए इस विषय में उनका परामर्श लाभदायक व उपयोगी सिद्ध होगा । यह ढंग दुरुस्त नहीं होगा कि आप लोग बिना सोचे समझे लकीर के फ़क़ीर बन कर भेड़ चाल चलने लगें और बिना अपनी योग्यता का अनुमान किये एक कक्षा से दूसरी कक्षा में , बिना सोचे - समझे उन्नति पाने की कोशिश करें । कहने का मतलब यह है कि जिस काम या ढंग में असफ़लता की आशंका हो उसे न करें और जिसमें सफ़लता की दशा दिखाई दे उस पर चलें ।

 On Sunday last, Huzur Mehtaji Maharaj was graciously pleased to address the students present as follows:

 It is not my purpose at the moment to talk to you about your studies during the academic session which is coming to a close: as to how much you have studied, whether you have worked at your studies diligently or wasted away your time in idle pursuits and whether you will succeed or fail at the ensuing examinations. But the urgent question that needs deliberation is: what do you want to be in life? For determining this, it would be proper that you consult your guardians and relatives at home and your Headmaster and your Principal whose advice will be useful and effective, for they know your capacity and your deficiency. It will not be proper that without thought and deliberation you pursue sheepishly the beaten track and endeavour to seek promotion somehow to the next class. The point is that you should not pursue the line in which you are liable to be a failure and should instead adopt the line promising success.
